Frank Turner releasing Last Minutes and Lost Evenings compilation

Singer-songwriter Frank Turner has had an extraordinary two-years in his native England. Gathering quite the fan base, breakthrough radio hits and a sold out headlining show at Wembley Arena. It all reached a crescendo with a performance at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

In Europe and the US Turner remains, for the time being, an emerging star on the verge of a breakthrough similar to those experienced by similar artists The Gaslight Anthem and Dropkick Murphys. After opening for Social Distortion, The Offspring along with the aforementioned Dropkicks and Gaslight Anthem as well as completing 2012 headline tours in both Europe and the US, word of Turner is now spreading across the globe.

To help the process along, Epitaph is offering a special introduction to the man and his music. Last Minutes and Lost Evenings delivers 15 songs, a riveting mix of standards and rarities hand-picked by Turner himself.

Bundled with a full DVD of his Wembley show – almost two hours of music, with plenty of rousing sing-alongs and folk-punk fury from Frank’s band The Sleeping Souls. For fans just hearing of Frank Turner, it’s an ideal introduction.
