Off With Their Heads supporting Boy Sets Fire this summer

American rabble-rousing punk rock group Off With Their Heads have just announced details of a 2012 summer tour, supporting Boy Sets Fire. The seasoned Minneapolis outfit, who according to Big Cheese magazine “capture the essence of true punk rock” will kick off the support dates on July 31st in Brighton and play the last show in Salzburg’s Rockhouse on August 14th.

The band will also start a European headline tour, which will take place next month. Off With Their Heads will spend 10 days in mainland Europe, playing five different countries. The tour will start on April 19th in Hamburg and will reach its finale on the Etnies Stage at Groezrock Festival.

Formed in 2002, Off With Their Heads have released an impressive catalog of music including seventeen 7”’s, one LP and a few comps, and has toured relentlessly in US, Europe, Canada and Japan with bands like Against Me!, Youth Brigade, The Bouncing Souls and Municipal Waste to name a few. It was during Off With Their Heads’ 2009 tour with Against Me! when the band got the call from Epitaph’s owner/president Brett Gurewitz saying that he was a fan of the band and the band joined the Epitaph family in February 2010. Gurewitz proclaims, “Off With Their Heads might just be the best punk band going right now.”
